Autistic License, the play

The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) at USF in Collaboration with Impact Productions proudly present the award-winning play, Autistic License by Stacey Dinner-Levin.  Impact Productions will perform this encore production of Autistic License on Tuesday, July 29th at 7pm at the Freedom HS Auditorium. Download flyer: Autistic License

“This is the kind of stuff you can’t make up,” says playwright Stacey-Dinner Levin of her autobiographical play about raising a child with autism.  Autistic License. “Nobody sees what goes on in families with a child living with a disability.  I really wanted to open it up to show what life is like day to day—both the struggles and the beauty, Levin says.  I really think of this piece as a love story between a husband and a wife, between a mother and a son and between a father and a son.”

We’ll have live music performed in the courtyard prior to the play and again during intermission by the musicians who have created a CD which will be available for purchase at the event.  It promises to be a fabulous evening.
