10th Annual National Training Institute on Effective Practices
Addressing Challenging Behavior: Supporting Young Children's Social/Emotional Development

21st Annual Statewide CARD Conference

The Annual Statewide CARD conference is Florida's premier conference on Autism Spectrum Disorders for professionals and families. National experts and regional professionals offer informative and stimulating presentations on a variety of topics on research, innovation, and effective educational programs for people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

About This Year's Conference: January 17-19, 2014

Autism impacts 1 out of 88 people in the United States. It is more prevalent than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined. Its national incidence has increased by more than 500% in the past 10 years. Thousands of parents and professionals across the state of Florida dedicate their lives to helping children, adolescents, and adults with autism. This is your opportunity to show support for these individuals.

CARD, Florida's 1st choice for autism supports, is proud to present the largest autism-related conference in the state of Florida. On this, the Conference's 21st year, CARD will feature more than 50 presenters on various topics across the autism spectrum.  Topics will include research, social and leisure, mobility, employment, early intervention, behavior, eating issues, sleeping issues, handwriting skills, education, communication, and much more. CARD will also be hosting a special track exclusively for ASD adults that are registered with CARD in the state of Florida and meet the attendance requirements.

Come back to this web site on a continuous basis.  We will be adding more information as we approach the conference. We look forward to seeing there learning, networking and enjoying with the CARD statewide staff.
