Who We Served In 1996-1997, 633 individuals made up our Consumer Registry. Summary of Support A total of 4,700 hours of direct services delivered to individuals with autism or other related disabilities, their family members, educators, and care providers. Over 260 requests for technical assistance and consultation in classrooms serving students with autism and related disabilities. CARD provided 21 in-service workshops for 560 professionals, including teachers and other school system personnel, adult service providers, and other caregivers. Ten parent information and support workshops were conducted for 140 parents. Approximately 400 requests for information were received and over 1900 articles, library books, and videotapes were distributed.
