Professional Training Activities & Presentations

During fiscal year 1995-1996, the USF-CARD staff conducted a total of 35 training and informational workshops for 560 participants (i.e., parents, special education teachers, psychologists, health care providers, and adult service providers). Examples of these training activities are listed below.

presented to members of District 6 Behavioral Program Review Committee, 15 participants, 1 hour.

"Identification and Assessment of Students with Autism,"

in-service training to teachers and school psychologists, 30 participants, 6 hours.

"Current Trends in Behavioral Assessment,"

workshop for Hillsborough County ESE specialists, 12 participants, 3 hours.

"The Process of Functional Assessment,"

in-service training to teachers and paraprofessionals at Hillsborough County ADAPT, 40 participants, 6 hours.
