Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Special Education Social/Behavioral Sciences, or a related area of specialization with one year direct experience working with children diagnosed with autism or related disabilities; or a bachelor’s degree in same with two years experience working with young children with autism, dual sensory impairments, or related disabilities, ability and willingness to travel. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Special Education Social/Behavioral Sciences, or a related area of specialization with two years experience planning, conducting, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and directly supervising a variety of research, training, and service activities focused on direct assistance to people with autism, dual sensory impairments, and related disabilities and their families; knowledge of autism and related disabilities (etiology, landmark research, ongoing and/or current research, treatment modalities, best practices, etc.); knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of instruction for children with autism and related disabilities; knowledge of methods for training adult learners; collaboration with families, schools, and support agencies; and the ability to effectively communicate with families and professionals. Special Skills/Training Necessary: Direct experience and training in working with individuals with autism and related disabilities. Application must
