Autism Special Collection Library

The Louis de la Parte Institute Research Library in collaboration with the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities and The John Maxwell Biasco Foundation for Children with Autism proudly provide autism and related resources for individuals touched by autism spectrum disorders.

How can I borrow material?

There are two ways that you can access materials from the de la Parte Institute Research Library (FMHI).

• Visit the library in person.
  
• Borrow materials from the Florida Interlibrary Loan system through your neighborhood library. The librarian at your local library will need to know that the OCLC Symbol for the de la Parte Institute Library is "FHI". Your librarian will also be able to help you locate materials that are available at our library. Materials will be sent to your local library and you will be able to check out and return them to your local library.

How can I find out what is available in the library?

The most simple way to see what is available and that can be borrowed from the de la Parte Institute Research Library is to use the USF Libraries web site at http://www.lib.usf.edu .

Go to the Catalogs section, select Library Catalog and enter a key word or choose Title or Author keywords from the drop-down menu. It will return a list of all of the materials it found for your keyword. The list will tell you if the material is checked out or if it is available.

Library hours of operation

8:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m. Friday. The Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute Research Library is located on the northwest corner of the University of South Florida Tampa Campus.
