- All participants for CARD workshops must register a minimum of five business days prior to the workshop. Registration information for CARD hosted workshops.

- The individual announcements will indicate who you need to register with, if there is a registration requirement.


- CARD-USF uses this schedule-page to announce special events, workshops or trainings being offered by CARD and other agencies. You do not need to register with CARD for trainings that are offered by other agencies, but you may need to register with them directly. Contact information is provided within the individual announcements.

Listings on this page are not to be considered an endorsement by CARD but rather are provided for your information.Some announcements are loaded to this page months in advance. Always confirm with the training agency that the time, date, and location are still correct. CARD does not have any further information on non-CARD trainings.

Kids of all abilities are welcome anytime. We have Sensory Play Night every Tuesday from 4-7pm. We quiet the playground down for children who don’t like loud noises. We charge a reduced rate. Call 239-430-PLAY to sign up.


Self Determination Series 2008

Charlotte Interagency Council proudly presents a series of workshops for families of adolescents and adults in Sarasota, Charlotte and surrounding counties. This community collaboration, with CARD-USF, will be provided with key partners from several surrounding social service agencies. You can attend one, two or all in the series.

Time: 6:00 to 9:00 pm

Location: Charlotte County Schools District Office, 1445 Education Way, Port Charlotte
