Understanding Early Signs of Autism. This tutorial provides an overview of the early warning signs that may be possible indicators of autism spectrum disorders in young children. Components of the diagnostic process for young children are detailed, along with brief video illustrations of one child’s success as a result of early identification and appropriate interventions.
Self-Determination. Issues around the matter of self-determination are critical for all individuals with autism spectrum disorder, but they become an increasing priority for adolescents and adults. This tutorial defines self-determination and outlines relevant issues pertaining to it.
